PRTG Manual: Enter a license key
A license key is only necessary for users of PRTG MultiBoard. A license key is a string that consists of 10 blocks with six characters each. The PRTG MultiBoard License Key is different from your PRTG License Key.
To request a license key, go to the Paessler website and click Get PRTG MultiBoard.
Paessler provides the PRTG MultiBoard License Key via email. Copy this information and paste it in the settings (File | Settings | License Information | Activation) to activate your license.

To activate your license, you need the Paessler PRTG MultiBoard License Key sent to you via email.
1.In the license information tab, click Activate.
2.Enter your PRTG MultiBoard license key and click Activate.
We recommend you copy and paste the license key directly from the email.
3.Restart the PRTG app for desktop to enable PRTG MultiBoard features.
