In this section:
If you currently use the classic desktop version of PRTG Data Exporter, you must first remove your current installation before you update to the new web-based version. Follow the below steps:
1.Uninstall your previous PRTG Data Exporter instance. For more information, see section Uninstall.
2.Download the latest installation setup program for PRTG Data Exporter.
3.Run the installation setup program on the target system and go through the installer steps. For more information, see section Install.
4.After installation, reconfigure your setup:
•Add your PRTG servers.
•Add or select your target database.
•Recreate filters, data profiles, and schedules as needed.
•Configure your Grafana connection and create dashboards if you want to use the Multi-Core Dashboards feature.
We recommend that you use the Setup Wizards to configure PRTG Data Exporter and to set up dashboards with the Multi-Core Dashboards feature.
