PRTG Manual: System Requirements
There are different aspects that you need to consider regarding the system requirements for PRTG Data Exporter. Meet these requirements to avoid issues during data collection and data export.

We recommend that your system has a 4-core processor with at least 8 GB of RAM.

We recommend that you use a 64-bit Windows operating system (OS) such as Microsoft Windows Server 2025, Microsoft Windows Server 2022, Microsoft Windows Server 2019, or Microsoft Windows Server 2016. |
PRTG Data Exporter requires as of PostgreSQL 17.10 and PostgreSQL ODBC driver on the same system. If you do not have PostgreSQL, you can install it via the prerequisites setup wizard.
PRTG Data Exporter also requires as of .NET 10.0.8. This version of .NET is included in the installer.

Software for the Multi-Core Dashboards feature
To use the Multi-Core Dashboards feature, you must have access to a Grafana instance with administrative privileges. Some of the default dashboards in PRTG Data Exporter also require the Treemap for Grafana plugin.
