PRTG Manual: System requirements

To install and run PRTG SLA Reporter, you must meet the following requirements:

Category	Requirements
Hardware	We recommend that your system has a 4-core processor with at least 8 GB of RAM. The amount of disk space PRTG SLA Reporter requires depends on the number of service level agreements (SLA) and sensors that you have, as well as the scanning interval that you set.
Operating system (OS)	We recommend that you use a 64-bit Windows OS such as Microsoft Windows Server 2025, Microsoft Windows Server 2022, Microsoft Windows Server 2019, or Microsoft Windows Server 2016.
Microsoft .NET framework	As of .NET 4.9 If the required version is not available on the system during installation, the installer downloads it.
Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2015-2022	As of version 14.40.33816 If the required version is not available on the system during installation, the installer downloads it.
SQL Server	Use an SQL server as of MS SQL Server 2016 SP2. All editions of the following versions are officially supported: ▪SQL Server 2016 SP2 ▪SQL Server 2017 ▪SQL Server 2019 SP1 ▪SQL Server 2019 SP2 ▪SQL Server 2022 If none of these versions are present on the system during installation, the installer downloads and installs SQL Server Express 2022.
Internet Information Services (IIS)	Use a version appropriate for the corresponding Windows version. If the required version is not available on the system during installation, the installer downloads it.
IIS URL Rewrite	As of version 7.2.1993 If the required version is not available on the system during installation, the installer downloads it.
ODBC Driver	As of version 18.1.2.1 If the required version is not available on the system during installation, the installer downloads it.
Date Format	The Date Format in PRTG must be set to one of the following: ▪DD.MM.YYYY HH:MM:SS (24h) ▪DD.MM.YYYY HH:MM:SS (AM/PM) ▪MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS (24h) ▪MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS (AM/PM) This setting is available in PRTG under Setup \| Account Settings \| My Account \| Web Interface \| Date Format.
