PRTG Manual: Profile creation
Starting with PRTG Database Observer 1.46, profiles can be created from command line. This allows users to incorporate automatic processes and deployments of profiles.
To create a profile from command line, you need to use the -createProfile parameter followed by the -name parameter and any remaining mandatory connection parameters.
See section General use or use the -GetHelp parameter for required parameters for each database type.
Example:
PRTG_DB_Plugin.exe -createProfile -type:mysql -name:mysqlProd01 -host:10.123.83.12 database:test wa:0 -user:test -pwdne:test
